ASPRID will be carried out by 7 European entities from Spain, Italy and France. These entities are experts in the different sectors involved in the project: airports, research, innovation technologies, drone operations, IT, safety and security.

INTA

INTA (National Institute of Aerospace Technology) is a Public Research Organization that depends on the Spanish Ministry of Defence. It is responsible for performing scientific research activities and prototypes in its field of knowledge, as well as for providing technological services to companies in the industry, universities and other institutions. Throughout more than 75 years since its foundation, INTA has specialized in technological research and development in aerospace, aeronautics, hydrodynamics, and in security and defence technologies.
Role: ASPRID and WP6 leader. Contribution to WP1, WP2, WP3, WP4 and WP5.

aena sme

Aena S.M.E., S.A. is the first airport operator company in the world by number of passengers. The Company manages 46 airports and y 2 heliports in Spain, 6 airports in Brazil and has majority shareholding in the management of Luton Airport in the United Kingdom, and minority shareholding in 16 airports in Latin America (12 in Mexico, 2 Colombia and 2 Jamaica). Some numbers of the Company by the end of 2019: 4.503,3 million € of revenue, 293,2 million passengers, and 8.878 employees.

Role: WP5 leader. Contribution to WP1, WP2, WP3, WP4 and WP6.

ALI S.c.a.r.l.

ALI – Aerospace Laboratory for Innovative components S. c. a r. l. is a non-profit consortium, founded in 2006, and has its headquarter in Naples, Southern Italy. ALI was founded in 2006 with the objective to develop the first space platform “made in Naples“; with this goal, ALI members were selected. ALI is a founding member of the Campania Aerospace District with a 2% share and it participates in research projects for a total investment of € 5 ML of euros. The associated 12 companies, with a total staff of about 1,000 employees and a turnover of approximately € 250ML, develop the whole supply chain in the aerospace sector.

Role: WP2 leader. Contribution to WP1, WP3, WP4, WP5 and WP6.

CIRA

CIRA, the Italian Aerospace Research Centre, is a non-profit public-private partnership whose main shareholder is the Italian Space Agency (47% of shares). The Italian Government entrusted CIRA of the Italian Aerospace Research Program (PRORA) management, to support the aerospace community by the: development and operation of strategic testing facilities, development of strategic research programs, enhancement of scientific competences and expertise. CIRA, with its research infrastructures, is located in Capua and employs more than 350 people (250 researchers).

Role: WP1 leader. Contribution to WP2, WP3, WP4, WP5 and WP6.

ENAIRE

ENAIRE is the company of the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda that manages air navigation in Spain. It is designated to provide air navigation services for en-route and approach control, from five control centres: Barcelona, Madrid, Gran Canaria, Palma and Seville. Likewise, ENAIRE renders aerodrome control services at 21 airports, including the busiest in terms of air traffic plus communications, navigation and surveillance services to 45 air control towers, being one of the major air navigation service providers in Europe. ENAIRE is a major European company in ATM, R&D and project management in the field of airspace and air navigation and a founding member of the A6 Alliance, which represents the ANSPs common view within SESAR Programme.

Role: Contribution to WP1, WP2, WP3, WP4, WP5 and WP6.

ONERA

ONERA (Office National d’Études et Recherches Aérospatiales) is the French national aerospace research centre. It is a public research establishment, with eight major facilities in France and about 2,000 employees, including 1,500 scientists, engineers and technicians. ONERA is involved in nearly all scientific disciplines needed to drive progress in aerospace. ONERA takes a two-pronged approach to research, combining computation and experimentation. ONERA was originally created by the French government in 1946. The research carried out at ONERA results in computation codes, methods, tools, technologies, materials and other products and services which are used to design and manufacture all that is related to aerospace.

Role: WP4 leader. Contribution to WP1, WP2, WP3, WP5 and WP6.

SOUL SOFTWARE

Soul Software is a software factory with more than 10 years of experience in the development of customize solution in different markets and several patents registered in the domain of the Enterprise Application Integration (EAI). In the last few years Soul Software is involved in ATM and UTM domain with its R&D team. It has developed simulation platforms for both ATM and UTM markets, and a planning and managing tool for Search and Rescue missions.

Role: WP3 leader. Contribution to WP1, WP2, WP4, WP5 and WP6.
